Equality, Diversity and Inclusion
Innervision specialises in strategic projects that deliver systematic change in equality, diversity, and inclusion. We work with organisations to identify structural barriers, co-create solutions, and embed inclusive practices that last. Through research, policy influence, and programme development, we help build fairer systems that create real, measurable impact.
Merseyside Fire and Rescue Service
Joanne Anderson was appointed as the independent chair of the Merseyside Fire and Rescue Service’s (MFRS) Culture and Inclusion Board to lead and support the organisation’s efforts in workplace culture transformation. As the former Mayor of Liverpool and a seasoned business consultant, Joanne brings nearly three decades of experience in equality, diversity, and inclusion (EDI). Her role as chair involves providing strategic leadership, independent scrutiny, and ensuring that MFRS continues to make sustainable progress in fostering an inclusive, respectful, and modern workplace. This appointment follows the recommendations from the 2023 HMICFRS report on Fire and Rescue Service values and culture and is a key step in helping MFRS implement its three-year workplace cultural action plan.
